On October 8, Evocabank organized an exclusive, private conference on the topic Getting Things Done, attended by representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia, leaders from banks and fintech companies, VIP clients, and partners of the Bank, both from Armenia and around the world.
4 globally recognized international speakers took the stage at the conference.
TJ Power presented his original concept, The DOSE® Effect, focusing on how four hormones — dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins influence our mood and motivation. He offered simple, scientifically proven, practical methods on how to improve their levels. TJ Power has a global community of over 850,000 members and has conducted over 600 neuroscience courses, educating over 80,000 people at Oxford University and a number of well-known companies.
Dr. Nashater Deu Solheim, a psychologist, presented her Leadership PIN Code framework, which outlines the three core components of leadership: Persuading, Influencing, and Negotiating. She emphasized that effective leadership is rooted in emotional intelligence, regardless of the context. Her book was included in Forbes' Top 8 Books of 2020. Throughout her 25+ year career, Nashater has worked with numerous government agencies and major international companies.
Timothy Armoo shared insights from his journey, reflecting on his five failed business ventures and the lessons he learned from them. He presented the concept How to Fail Forward, stating that failure is not the end, but an opportunity to learn and move forward. At just 21 years old, Timothy founded Fanbytes, helping major brands like Nike, Universal, and even the UK government connect more effectively with Gen Z through influencer marketing.
And of course, Edward Lamont introduced effective teamwork strategies based on his book Team: Getting Things Done with Others. He emphasized that high performance is only possible through a healthy team culture and open communication. Edward is a licensed expert in the GTD methodology and co-founder of Next Action Associates. He works with Fortune 500 companies to help boost team performance.
The speaker presentations were followed by a Getting Things Done-themed panel discussion, moderated by Tatevik Khachatryan, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, and Sergey Tantushyan, Business Communication and Strategy Lecturer and MBA Program Director at the American University of Armenia. The event concluded with the launch of the Armenian edition of the book — Team: Getting Things Done with Others, published by NewMag with the support of Evoca. All guests received a copy of the book as a gift, signed by the author himself.
“This conference is just one of the events dedicated to the Bank’s 35th anniversary. We wanted to share this special day with our partners and clients, as they are an essential part of Evoca’s history and identity. I’m confident that our guests had a productive day — gaining clear, practical skills from top international experts, along with engaging networking in this unique setting,” said Tatevik Khachatryan, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
The event was made even more unforgettable by its remarkable venue — a futuristic, temporary mirrored pavilion built on Swan Lake in the heart of Yerevan, specially designed for the conference. The structure reflected the Bank’s innovative vision and its ongoing drive to deliver beyond expectations for its clients and partners.
This event once again reaffirmed Evocabank’s leadership not only in the financial sector but also in a range of educational and cultural initiatives.
