Head of Litigation Division

Role description:

Evoca is looking for a Head of Litigation Division, who will be responsible for coordinating the work of the Legal Department’s Litigation Division, preparing litigation documents, managing relations with courts, law-enforcement bodies and other state authorities, and ensuring the Bank’s representation in the context of criminal and administrative proceedings

What will you be doing?

  • representation of the Bank’s interests in civil, administrative, criminal and bankruptcy cases;
  • representation of the Bank’s interests in arbitration courts;
  • drafting and filing claims, appeals and cassation complaints;
  • drafting and filing objections and motions;
  • organizing work related to inquiries and/or correspondence received from investigative bodies and lawyers;
  • coordination of other tasks of the division.

What skills are we looking for?

  • higher education in law;
  • at least 3 years of work experience in the banking sector;
  • licensed attorney (license to practice law);
  • excellent knowledge of the civil procedure code and civil code of the RA;
  • excellent command of the law of the RA on bankruptcy;
  • familiarity with the criminal procedure code of the RA;
  • experience working with the electronic litigation system (E-Justice);
  • strong desire for continuous development and learning;
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment;
  • ability to work in a team;
  • excellent command of English and Russian.
