Senior Accountant

Role description:

Evoca is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for the managing a designated area of accounting, ensuring the proper execution of accounting processes and maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

What will you be doing?

• maintain accounting records for accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• perform accounting for fixed assets, leasing or payroll, depending on the assigned area of responsibility;
• ensure the accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions;
• participate in the preparation of financial statements;
• perform other duties assigned by the department manager.

 What skills are we looking for?

• bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field;
• at least 2 years of accounting experience (experience in the financial sector will be considered an advantage);
• knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Armenia related to accounting, as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• proficiency in the AS-Accountant;
• proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• strong teamwork skills;
• high level of initiative and sense of responsibility;
• excellent communication skills;
• working knowledge of Russian and English.
