Network Administrator

What will you be doing?

• configure, administer, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco network devices;
• manage and support routing and switching environments, including VLAN, STP, OSPF and BGP;
• configure and administer firewalls and network security policies;
• configure and maintain VPN, NAT, ACL and other network security services;
• administer and support LAN/WAN infrastructure;
• monitor network availability, health, performance and capacity;
• configure and maintain network monitoring tools, dashboards, alerts and notifications;
• investigate network alerts, connectivity issues, performance degradation and service interruptions;
• troubleshoot network incidents and perform root cause analysis;
• manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP-related issues;
• monitor network traffic and identify performance or security-related issues;
• perform network device software updates, upgrades, backups and preventive maintenance;
• maintain network device configurations and ensure configuration backups are up to date;
• participate in network infrastructure implementation, upgrades, migrations and expansion projects;
• support the implementation and maintenance of network security standards and access controls;
• maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, procedures and infrastructure inventories.

What skills are we looking for?

• bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or another technical field;
• relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) will be considered an advantage;
• at least 3 years of relevant professional experience;
• excellent knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN);
• hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and network solutions, including Cisco and Palo Alto;
• experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools;
• excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• good command of Russian and English.
