Senior Contractual Specialist

Role description:

Evoca is seeking a Senior Contractual Specialist who will be responsible for verifying the legality and validity of documents certifying the rights to properties pledged in favor of the Bank within the framework of loan applications. The role will involve providing necessary legal support and consultation to the Bank’s employees and, when necessary, legal consultation to the Bank’s customers, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal regulations.

What will you be doing?

• verify the legality and validity of documents certifying the rights to properties pledged in favor of the Bank within the framework of loan applications and provide conclusions on identified deficiencies and legal risks;
• amend and align existing loan and pledge agreements with the Bank’s internal legal acts, CBA requirements and RA legislation;
• review and analyze the Bank’s internal legal acts and ensure their compliance with RA legislation;
• provide responses to customer requests regarding the clarification or amendment of contractual provisions;
• provide necessary legal support and consultation to the Bank’s employees and, when necessary, legal consultation to the Bank’s customers.

What skills are we looking for?

• higher education in law;
• at least two years of work experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably in the contractual or legal field;
• good knowledge of the CBA regulations, RA civil legislation and other legal acts regulating banking activities;
• experience in drafting and legal review of loan, pledge and other banking agreements;
• good command of English and Russian, both written and spoken;
• strong ability to draft and analyze legal documents;
• attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
